Light and versatile summer kimono!

The Summer Kimono: Your Ultimate Summer Essential

You’ve loved our classic and bestselling kimono wraps for the past few seasons ... BUT, you want something a bit shorter and a bit lighter for warmer weather. You let us know your thoughts, and we listened! This season we bring you our Summer Kimono - SHOP NOW.

With a shorter length and a lighter, floatier fabric, the Summer Kimono comes in 4 different colorways ranging from juicy coral, to serene blue, to chic grey. Just the right amount of two-color tassels provide a little weight to give your kimono a gorgeous drape.

Like her classic cousin, the Summer Kimono is amazingly versatile. What starts as a simple rectangle - with a center slit to place your head and set the fabric on your shoulders – easily transforms into a kimono, a swimsuit cover-up, a poncho wrap, and a scarf.

If you’re going on vacation, bringing one Summer Kimono is like bringing at least 4 different outfits. We’ll show you how! (There is a quick how-to video after the following photos.)

1. Just Throw It Over Your Shoulders - And Go!

The Summer Kimono is the easiest way to add interest and drama to your everyday basics.

You don't have to get rid of your favorite tshirt and jeans to give your wardrobe a makeover. Our kimono gives your outfit instant color, a gorgeous pop of print, and beautiful drape that will make you look like you're floating on air.

2. Doubles As The Cutest Cover-up

Headed to the beach, the pool, or your favorite swimming hole? Don't forget to throw your summer kimono in your beach bag.

It's super lightweight and takes up no space when you're on-the-go. If you have one favorite bathing suit that fits perfectly, and you don't feel like finding a new one this season, you can always spruce up your look with colorful cover-ups.

3. Mix It Up With This Poncho Style

For fuller coverage and more of a poncho style, simply toss one side of the kimono over your opposite shoulder.

Maybe you need more coverage from the sun, or maybe the tank top you're wearing underneath is cut a smidge too low - poncho style to the rescue!

4. Surprise! It's Also A Scarf!

Many of our customers are surprised that they can also wear this kimono as a scarf. This is why we don't sew the arm holes closed. Just fold the kimono length-wise and wrap around your neck.

It's really that easy to change up your look in seconds!

For those of you who prefer a video visual, we shot a quick demonstration for styling the Summer Kimonos and posted them on each of their product pages. Here's an example:
