I was gifted a set of these, then bought a set to gift to a young Florida couple as their wedding gift. I was hoping they would be a little heavier these slide pretty easily and depending on what kind of dinner you’re serving, that can be dangerous! (Seeing a plate of spaghetti placed on top of placemat sliiiide across the table gave me a slight Newark attack, but now I know, and perhaps adding cork corners may keep them in place better. They do wipe off easily. No sheen on these, which I prefer. They are beautiful enough to hang as art! Nice deep blue but not too fancy schmancy!
